We are recruiting for a Senior Risk Analyst. Leading the technical delivery of models and analytics that will support the Society’s strategic goals and business critical delivery. Further driving the development of model development skills and knowledge within Risk and the wider organisation.
The day to day role:
- Completing risk assurance of key functions and policies
- Following up with audit owners on actions, ensure extensions are requested at appropriate committees in a timely manner.
- Managing the internal audit report and action system and liaising with internal auditors
- Steering monthly Management Information for the Executive and Board committee
- Play a leading role in development of models critical to business operation, pushing the capabilities of the society as it grows.
- Conducting second line oversight of models throughout the organisation to ensure models are in line with policy and best practise is followed.
- Overseeing the performance of the portfolio to inform strategy decisions.
- Supporting and coaching members of the team as appropriate.

- Risk data science either: Portfolio management, scorecard development, capital, impairment, forecasting or stress testing. (specialist)
- Regulatory requirements such as ICAAP, ILAAP, Basel 3.1, COREP or FINREP. (specialist)
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including setting up and optimising data infrastructure. (specialist)
- Risk management principles. (core)
- Coding languages such as SAS, SQL or Python. (specialist)
- Process automation (specialist)
