Mini Money Masters Free event!

Join us for a free money skills event at the Saffron Community Link this summer holiday!

  • Are your children getting their first pocket money, or eyeing up a part-time job?
  • Do your children like a challenge?
  • Do you want your kids to learn better money habits?

We’re here to help…

In an increasingly digital world it’s becoming harder to teach our children about money. The question of when to spend or save is one we want them to be asking when they have their own money. The ability to make good money decisions is a valuable life skill, which will help your children for years to come.

Saffron Building Society and Money Ready are here to help

You’re invited to a free money skills event run by our financial education partner Money Ready. The free session will bring money to life, introduce your children (or grandchildren) to budgeting, spending and saving through fun activities and help keep them entertained during the summer holidays.

What are the event details?

The workshops will be held on Thursday 14 August in the Saffron Community Link, next door to our branch in Saffron Walden (1 Market Square, CB10 1HX).

There are two workshops to cater for children of different ages.

  • 8-11 Year Olds: 1-2pm

The challenge: Pocket money - spend or save? Plus, how to decide what to spend it on.

  • 12-15 Year Olds:

Refreshments will be provided for both children and grown-ups!
