Why choose Saffron Building Society?
Saffron is not like the big high street banks. Because we’re smaller, we can personally manage every application, getting to know our customers and understanding their unique circumstances.
That’s why we can often lend to people who might not get a mortgage elsewhere. Those who are self-employed or work on contracts for example. We’re that bit more flexible than many other lenders.
The benefits of mutual
There’s another big difference about getting a mortgage with Saffron. As we’re a mutual society, you won’t just be a customer, you’ll be a member. And we’re 100% owned by our members so, with no shareholders to take the profits, all our funds are invested for your benefit.
From small beginnings over 160 years ago, today, over 90,000 people enjoy the benefits of being a Saffron member and we have of over £1 billion of assets.
Our Mortgage Advisers
At Saffron we have a team of Mortgage Advisers who can meet with you at any of our branches to discuss your mortgage requirements and advise you on the best solution to suit your needs and preferences. If it’s more convenient for you they can call you to discuss your requirements.
