The Role

We are recruiting for a Mortgage Officer to join our customer focused Mortgage Processing and Servicing team on a permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised team player with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.

Previous experience within an administrative role dealing with high volumes of processing accurate customer data would be highly beneficial. Full training will be provided. 

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Dealing in a timely and professional manner all matters arising post mortgage completion through to redemption.
  • Delivering a “Best in Class” service, which includes keeping the customer informed of any delays or issues.
  • Dealing with customers, brokers and solicitors to ensure customer mortgages are processed efficiently.  
  • Managing the daily tasks across the team and support with Mortgage Processing or Servicing.
  • Complying with all relevant Society manuals and regulatory obligations.
  • Ensuring that the Society’s products, services, image and aims are promoted at all times.
  • Maximising customer satisfaction through the development of a continuous improvement and service based culture.
  • Keeping up to date on mortgage market conditions, legislation and best practice.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £23,000 basic salary 
Hours: 35 hours per week.
