You may be able to receive your interest without paying tax. First, your parents should complete the Helpsheet attached to this form to see if you are entitled to get interest without paying tax. If you are, ask them to complete the remainder of the form and send it to us with your application form.
- All it takes is £1 to start saving
- Maximum investment of £10,000 (although interest can be added onto this) Save between £5 and £100 a month by standing order or by visiting a branch
- Parents and relatives can add to the account as well (so long as you don't exceed the £100 a month)
- Up to four withdrawals per year without penalty (further withdrawals/closure in same year will incur an interest penalty of 180 days, to be deducted from the capital sum if necessary)
- You can miss up to three payments a year (if four payments are missed the account will be switched to a Cashbuild account)

- Interest is paid each year on 31 December and added to your account
- Available for anyone up to the age of 16. If you are under the age of seven you must ask an adult to act as a nominee or trustee, which makes this account ideal for grandparents and parents to open on behalf of a child
- Earn interest and put some money in the bank for your team
- The account pays a bonus to LOFC. At the end of every year the club will receive a bonus based on the average total balance held in all LOFC's accounts, in the previous year. This bonus is currently 0.75%.

Guidance for Parents
If you are a parent and give your child a gift of money that produces more than £100 gross interest per year then the income will normally be taxed as yours. Please see HM Revenue & Customs IR11 Booklet from your local Inland Revenue Office.
