Fixed Rate ISAs & Instant Access ISAs

Make the most of your savings and investments and protect your savings interest from the tax man by saving in an ISA. You can choose an instant access ISA with our Reward Cash ISA (and even earn a 1.25% p.a. gross bonus for no withdrawals every three months) or you could choose a Fixed Rate ISA if you want to guarantee the rate you will get. Saffron is always reviewing its product range so availability of Fixed Rate ISAs and Variable Rate ISAs can change.

As a local mutual, we pride ourselves on offering not only a good range of saving and investment products including our Fixed Rate ISAs and Variable Rate ISAs, but also savings information to ensure your savings work the hardest they can for you.

How much can I save in my ISA now?

Limits for ISAs are changing. On 6th October 2009, anyone aged 50 or over on or before the 5th April 2010 qualifies for a maximum cash ISA limit of £5100. Those who become 50 between the 6th October 2009 and 5th April 2010 will not have to wait until their 50th birthday before subscribing to the new limit. Customers who do not meet the criteria above will retain the existing Cash ISA limit of £3600. From 6th April 2010 all ISA customers will be eligible for the maximum Cash ISA limit of £5100.

Once a customer reaches their Cash ISA limit for the tax year (£3600 or £5100 depending on the customers' circumstances), they may make no further deposits regardless of withdrawals.

If a current year's subscription for a Cash ISA is transferred to a Stocks and Shares ISA, you are entitled to subscribe to another Cash ISA once the transfer is complete. Subject to the overall subscription limits.
