Saffron to sponsor local journalists' Marathon
Saffron are pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring Daniel Baden and Nick Thompson, journalists for the Walden Reporter and Dunmow Broadcast, who are running the London Marathon for Children with Leukaemia.
Sales and Marketing Director John Eastgate said: "Saffron Building Society are delighted to be supporting Nick and Daniel in their Marathon effort, particularly as they are raising money for such a good cause.
"We have a number of keen runners at Saffron and several of us have run the London Marathon, so are very aware of how big an undertaking this will be for them both.

"We are now planning an indoor treadmill Marathon of our own in branches to boost Nick and Daniel's fundraising, and to give our staff the chance to don their running shorts for a good cause.
