Building Society issues last call for charity votes
Saffron Building Society is putting out a final call for members and new faces to votes for the Society's Local Charity of the Year.
Saffron's staff have nominated the charities that they would like to support in 2010, and branch visitors are now voting to select winners to benefit from a year of fundraising, volunteering and advocacy from the regional mutual.
Runners up will benefit from a small donation from the Society.
Visitors to branches can collect a voting token from staff following every transaction or enquiry at the counter, which can then be placed in to special countertop boxes.
John Eastgate, Sales and Marketing Director, said:
"Our charity voting is gathering pace; and it's a really close-run contest in many of our branches. Whether you're a Saffron member or not, please do drop in before 24th and tell us who you'd like us to support!"
Voting will close on Saturday 24 April. The charities of the year will be announced at the end of the month.
