Kisses 4 Kids give home to valuable Ladybird
Following the close of their Ladybird Treasure Hunt, Saffron Building Society will be donating the undiscovered £1600 prize to a local Children's charity.
Saffron launched the competition as part of its ongoing 160th birthday celebrations and to raise awareness of the Saffron Ladybird account which is open to savers aged 11 or under. 2000 Ladybirds were hidden around the Saffron branch area, each containing £1, and four £160 prizes have now been claimed by local children.

Stacey Johnson celebrates adopting Saffron's £1600 ladybird with Society General Manager Sara Andrews.
The Ladybird moneybox containing a £1600 prizewinning ticket spent a month hiding in Bishop's Stortford Museum, but sadly no one picked up the bug to take him home.
Rather than take the Ladybird and its loot back to the Building Society, Saffron opted to donate the prize to a charity supported by the Society's fundraising efforts over the summer.
The branch contacted Stacey Johnson, founder of Kisses 4 Kids, to ask if the charity would like to adopt the Ladybird and use the prize money to further their good work.
The charity is based in Bishop's Stortford and aims to grant the 'wishes' of seriously ill children and teenagers in the area. It holds its charity savings account with Saffron BS. Charity Founder Stacey said:
"I couldn't believe it when the branch called me to offer the Ladybird to Kisses 4 Kids. As a small charity, £1600 makes a huge difference to us. We will use the donation to bring more happiness to children who really deserve it. Thank you Saffron!"
Sara Andrews, the Society's General Manager said:
"When our biggest prize wasn't found, we wanted to find a way to ensure that the money still went to help children in the area. Kisses 4 Kids is a wonderful charity - our staff know all about the good work they do from Stacey's regular visits to the branch, and it was a real pleasure to offer them the prize".
