The Saffron Building Society has appointed a new manager for its Halstead branch.
Kevin Hall is highly experienced in the financial sector having worked for the Halifax financial group for some 10 years.
Kevin said: "I have been very impressed with the customer-focused approach taken at the Saffron. It's like the customers and staff are all part of one great big family, and there is a real community focus here, and across the whole group."
Kevin said he is enjoying getting to know local people and has already been made to feel very welcome.
"Getting to know my customers is very important to me," he said. "I believe in giving truly personal service, and the Society's Saturday morning opening hours mean that local people can drop in, have a chat and do their banking in a secure, friendly environment. We want to go that extra mile and be available when our customers need us."
Andy Golding, the Society's Chief Executive, said: "I'm delighted to welcome Kevin to the Society. His experience in the banking field will no doubt prove valuable to us and to our customers. Our Halstead branch is one of the few financial institutions on the High Street that opens on a Saturday and stays open till 5pm during the week, which reaffirms our commitment to be part of the local community."
