Saffron Building Society announces new recruit to boost its products
Saffron Building Society has announced a new addition to its team to promote the Society outside its traditional areas.
Alan Kimber has been appointed as the Society's new Business Development Manager and will be tasked with visiting independent financial advisors to educate them on Saffron's products and services.
Alan, based in Norwich, has several years' experience in a similar field, working as a business development manager and as a mortgage account representative.
He said: "I'm no stranger to this kind of work, having done the exact same role in my last job. I'm looking forward to meeting up with intermediaries to talk to them about the great products and services offered by Saffron Building Society.
"Saffron may still be perceived as a small regional building society, but it is important for people to realise that they have market leading products, which can be accessed by anyone, no matter where they live."
Jon Hall, Saffron Building Society's finance director, said: "I'm delighted to welcome Alan to the Society and am sure that he will prove to be an excellent addition to the team."
